I'm a Chicago native that grew up vacationing in Michigan, going to Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Traverse City, Mackinac Island, and more.  Fast forward a few decades later and I am now living in Michigan full-time and loving it!  

What started as a weekend getaway that needed to be within 90 minutes of Chicago, turned into a full time home.  In my search. I found Harbor Country.  This is the area around the Indiana/Michigan Border that includes New Buffalo, Union Pier, Lakeside, Three Oaks,  Harbert, Sawyer, Grand Beach, and Michiana.  To this day, every time I arrive in Harbor Country, I immediately feel like I’m on vacation.  Stress just melts away.... With lovely beaches, lots of nature trails, cool breweries and wineries, a myriad of restaurants, you’re bound to enjoy this gem of a place too.
